I actually am kind of surprised. Not that they'd want to break up, but that Palin would let them. I was fully expecting a miserable shotgun wedding.

On Levi's Myspace it did have that he was seeing another girl but chose to settle down with the Mother of his child. (Images of Sarah holding gun to Levi's back.) He also said he really doesn't want to have kids. After the election Bristol had no use for Levi. He Mom's the Governor and she sure doesn't need his Child Support checks.

Well, you know how it is with a lot of social conservatives. They're "fire and brimstone" with public policy, but when it comes to friends and family, just sit back and enjoy the hypocrisy.

It's like that Olympian god of Reagan conservatism William Bennett, PhD, said when was caught after losing an eight million dollar fortune in Las Vegas: "I never gambled away the milk money!"
In other words, principles are for poor people. Money is a measure of how much devious behavior you're allowed. Bennett was so rich, he could throw down the rat hole enough money to feed an entire African nation! But, hey, he's not drawing off the public dole, so that's his business, isn't it?
How much money did Rush Limbaugh spend on prescription dope? I don't know and I don't care because it was all his own money and he's free to do what he wants with it. Those poor kids who get hooked on crack should still get sent up the river because they're a public menace out on the street as they hustle for another fix!
Are Bristol and Levi on welfare? No. So, you have no business judging them. Octomom, on the other hand, is fair game. Do you see?
