I really would like to vote for Pedro.  (because he offers protection)  However I'll vote for Obama.  McCain is not an option and Hillary is completely psycho.

I would vote for Pedro because all my wildest dreams would come true.

If Obama is the Democratic candidate, I will definitely vote Obama.  If Hillary is the candidate, I'll vote McCain and hope to God he doesn't f it all up and that he picks a good VP in case he dies.

Yep...  Ralph Nader...  or as a goof, I might vote for Lou Dobbs.  I already know my state's electoral votes are going to McCain.  North Carolina is one of the reddest states in the country.

Serious answer:  Yeah, I'm the first jerk on this poll to give props to McCain.  Not just because the Republican base hates him even more than the Democratic base, but because the 'Pubs have screwed themselves so badly that the Dems are gonna take the House and Senate in '08 without even having to bother campaigning. 

Have we forgotten 2000-2006?  We must never again permit the same wing of the Party (be it Elephant or Jackass) to control the Legislative, Executive, and (because the Executive appoints and the Legislative confirms) the Judicial branches of government.

When all three branches are controlled by the same (wing of the) Party, the Executive need only do it, ask the Legislature to make it retroactively legal, and the Judiciary is forced by its own respect for the law to uphold it. 

Divided Government is good (or at least "not-as-bad") for America.  Assuming a two-party system and three coequal branches of government, the more time those various branches of government spend screwing each other (and failing that, their interns or congressional pages!), the less time they can spend screwing their subjects.

Having said all that... Pedro wins, I'm sticking around for lulz.  Obama wins, I'm sticking around out of curiosity because however high his taxes will be, it's gonna be an interesting experiment.  McCain wins, I'm sticking around because taxes will be low enough that I can afford to stick around.  Clinton II wins the nomination, I'm packing my bags starting the day after the convention, and if she gets the Presidency, I'm heading for the frozen wastelands of Canuckistan before the inaguration.
