Some 70,000 former insurgents are now being paid $10 a day by the U.S. military. It costs about a quarter billion dollars a year.
When did this program begin? Around the same time of the surge... coincidence? Hardly.
I'm sure all the surge boosters will be mentioning this and downplaying it's effects too right?
