Subject: Trent Lott Stepping Down

He is only one year into a six year term, but has decided to step down. We can speculate, but I would say a position as a lobbyist is in the cards. It was what pro business repugnants do.

Ohhhh yeah! You know it! When you retire from the senate it's less work, more fun, and much more money.
Lott called his book:
"Herding Cats: A Life in Politics."
I heard it as:
"Hurting Cats"!

Managing programmers is where I first came across the "herding cats" comment - seems somehow more appropriate than a politicians (who are *much* more like herd animals)
