Subject: Pat Robertson endorses Guiliani
Written By: danootaandme on 11/07/07 at 10:01 am
Isn't that just perfect. ::) The evangelical "christian" endorses the twice divorced, cousin marrying, move the girlfriend in the house with the wife and kids, guy.

I'm guessing Robertson didn't see the picture of Guiliani in drag? Guiliani deserves an Oscar for acting like a Christian Conservative.

It is possible that this could backfire. Guiliani is pro-abortion rights, pro-gay rights, and his families values speak for themselves. All this is antithetical to what the evangelists believe, of course anyone who follows Robertson can probably be talked into anything.

I would have thought he'd endorse Huckabee.

probably ? ;)
If I were running, I would pay Robertson not to endorse me (not that he ever would, heh heh). I mean, what asset is it to be endorsed by the dangerously insane guy that looks like Yoda?
By the way, congrats on 12000 posts.

I'm loving every minute of it!
Pat's pulling the old switcharoo on the social conservatives and alienating the moderates from Rudy at the same time.
I too thought Pat would endorse Huckabee, or Romeny perhaps, and he would have, but oh lordy, lordy, they's desperate, they's desperate!!!!
I think Pat did it because the Right knows the Big G is the only GOP man who stands a chance against Hillary. If Hillary gets the White House those guys will feel humiliated and have castration nightmares for the next four years!

I think you're on to something here. Maybe Pat did it to alienate the secular support that Rudy has. I would think Romney is the only "religious" candidate that stands a chance against Hillary. Granted, getting the Religious Right to support a Mormon will be difficult.

What about Fred? Thompson is making a bid for it with this, "our rights come from God not from government" bafflegab!
???
Oh, and another thing Pat Robertson said caused 9/11: Rampant Internet pornography!
Bah!
I think Internet pornography stops terrorism!
How? If you're surfing for Internet porn, your mind's not on planning or executing acts of terrorism!
Have I bombed any public buildings lately?
There you go!

Falwell-Deceased
Bakker-Deceased
Humbard-Deceased
Kennedy-Deceased
These evangelists have one thing in common-they all died this year. Why can't Robertson do the same thing?

Doesn't Giuliani support gay rights and abortion rights? How could an evangelical Christian like Pat Robertson support this heathenous gay loving abortionist?, DISGRACEFUL. ::)

As long as Rudy supports the diamond trade, Pat is ok with him.

And I gave you the 700th Karma point!
Dennis Miller was trying to chalk it up to the War on Terror. Eh, Giuliani's tough, Pat likes that! The abortion issue can take the back seat this time around.
I still say they're desperate. Anybody who think Pat Robertson actually gives a rat's azz about "the rights of the unborn" must be huffing spray paint.
Dennis Miller used to seem like a Republican who happens to have some Hendrix and Stones records and dimebag in his nightstand.
Now he seems like your crazy uncle who spent too many years in the Marines and barks about communism at Thanksgiving dinner!

Dennis Miller says whatever he's paid to say. If his producers were hardcore liberals, he'd be like a snarkier version of Al Franken.
It's sad though.... Miller does have some comedic talent, but he's traded in integrity for being a capitalistic whore.

I dunno, it would be hard to be any snarkier than Al. I had to stop listening to Al Franken long before he left Air America. I agree with a lot of his positions but the guy started to grate on my after a while. He's really an annoying prick. I'll eat my sneakers if the people of Minnesota elect him to the senate!
Miller is a one-trick pony. He doesn't have another schtick. I've noticed right-wingers don't know from sh*t about humor, so maybe Miller figured it would be easy pickings over at their camp.
I do watch Pat Robertson sometimes because the guy's so frikkin' evil it's amusing. He grins like a Cheshire cat and he's got that diabolical little cackle in his voice. Really spooky!
