I would have happened eventually, and there wasn't too much notice paid, I heard it the other day in a very short news blurb

Good f***ing riddance. I can already see that the GOP primaries have risen by at least 30 IQ as a result.

He didn't stand a chance. I think he only had a solid 8%. Now who going to be the brainless conservative of the bunch?

The good news is that most of the Republicans that lead the pack are moderates -- especially on social issues. It's like the GOP is collectively realizing what the Conservatives in the U.K. already have: the future of our society is mostly liberal in social policy.
Economic conservatism still has many selling points (no pun intended), but social conservatism is mostly for stuckup busybodies.
Here's to hoping that the GOP becomes more Libertarian in the future.

The guy had no real sense of reality. Although he did take quite a bit of heat for promoting AIDS testing with Barack Obama. The Christian Conservatives were not pleased.

Did I miss something? Mike Huckabee is still in the race.

That's probably my fault... I had said Huckabee had dropped out in the Huckabee thread... I'm not sure why I had thought that happened....

All we need is Tancredo and Huckabee to drop out and the scary, Republican theocrat section will have no one to vote for...

They weren't pleased? It does seem a fairly odd method for AIDS testing...

He called it a bipartisan, humanitarian effort.
