Times Union publisher denies any attempt to shake-down the senator...

Could be: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2006-6/1193336/rodeo_clowns.gif on the senator's part...
Or the senator's flights could, very well, have been legit, in which case he can renew his subscription...
