Subject: Pinochet won't be down for breakfast!

It's finally happened.  One of the worst tyrants this hemisphere has ever seen is taking dirtnap.  The Guardian says he died of "heart complications," so that's more breaking news.  Didn't know he had one.

This week Jeane Kirpatrick, Reagan's first U.N. ambassador, died of heart failure as well.

Last month Milton Friedman, who personally advised both the Pinochet administration and the Reagan administration on economics, also kicked the bucket.

I see a trend.  Open season on fascists.  (though Dr. Kissinger is still at large)!

And guess what?  Fidel Castro outlived Pinochet!  Long live the Revolution!

I also read somewhere that Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead, too.  ;D

By the way Milton Friedman was not the only one of my fellow University of Chicago alums to have counseled a right-wing dictator.  Any dictator worth his salt will ALWAYS call on the U of C for economic guidance.  ;)

I heard the whole countries in chaos.  Pinochet's son has said the old tyrant will be cremated because his tomb may be vandelized by his enemies.

Finally, Allende has his revenge over thirty years after September 11th, 1973.

Actually, I think this is kind of sad news because he wasn't brought to justice and made to suffer for all the evil he caused.

I'm going to be missing him anytime soon....

Maggie?  The cemeteries will be full of folks who were waiting for that old bat to die.  As long as her son is still around, she's gotta be there to keep an eye on him!

Kissinger will never be brought to justice either.  Rumsfeld and Cheney?  I can't see either of them accepting a presidential pardon because they don't think they ever did anything wrong!

Pinochet put the "kissing" in Kissinger!
:-*

(So did Barbara Walters.  Did you know she and Henry Kissinger used to do the horizontal mambo?  Eeeeeu!)

It's "Pinochet," as in "Pinochet Atkins."

Jeremiah was a nazi....

I regret to say I got "won't be down for breakfast" from Howie Carr (the Boston Rush Limbaugh), who likes to say, "so-and-so won't be down for breakfast" when somebody dies.
:-[

Howie didn't make the euphemism up, it's been around since I don't know when.
