story in todays paper says that channel 4 over here in england has made a tv drama based on what would happen if president bush was assassinated.it's caused a bit of a storm.
i was wondering what our friends in the states thought about it ?

Can't say whether it'll cause that much of a storm...who watches Channel 4 these days?  ::)

Sounds interesting.  It's kind of like when the South Park guys decided to make "That's My Bush!" after Bush became President.  Too bad they made them stop after the 9/11 thing...and it really wasn't all that funny anyway ;)  But kudos to anyone who dares to make fun of "The Man" :D

The assassination angle is a bit dicey though.

That would be Timothy Bottoms, who interestingly enough portrayed also portrayed Bush in a serious film about 9/11, which was aired on HBO I think.

I think they tried too hard to make it like "Married With Children" which is probably why I didn't warm up to the show.

Italian cinema didn't produce movies depecting the assassination of Mussolini.  It was a touchy subject for Ben, after all, look at what finally did happen to him and his missus!
