It's good that the stuff went to people who needed it rather than just being thrown away. Thousands of bottles of products. Good for them.

You can see the headlines now can't you.
"Local man finally washes thanks to inane security policy."

HOMELAND SECURITY MEASURE CREATES NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED
MOTHERLAND SECURITY MEASURE CREATES NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR PROLETARIAT.
Since we appear to be headed for that kind of dictatorship and class stratification...
I can hear Bush talking now..."Y'see, this new liquids measure is giving the homeless an opportunity to bathe and wash their drawers and get the dreadlocks out of their hair. Also, we will be donating the shoes people leave behind during the security check, and confiscated pornography that can't cross intermanational borders."

And if someone had told me 20 years ago that Russians would be teaching Americans about freedom, I'd have said you were nuts.

I'm afraid you accredit the man too much beneficence! If it was up to Bush, they would post arm guards at ever trash receptacle. Good Christian businessmen shouldn't have to look at those icky homeless people as they pre-board First Class!
Bush did say, "poor people aren't necessarily killers," but you can never be too careful. I hear terrorists are disguising themselves as homeless people and wiring airport dumpsters with explosives! Hear me now and believe me later, do not be surprised if Tony Snow issues this as a talking point and FOX and Rush repeat it ad nauseam!
