Subject: I'm now convinced New Jersey governor Jon Corzine has lost his mind!
Written By: Tony20fan4ever on 07/04/06 at 8:15 am
Jon Corzine wants the casinos in Atlantic City to shut down briefly while the budget mess is worked out! I think Corzine has gone absolutely loco, he thinks that closing the casinos briefly is no biggie...but not to anyone who works there! And the way the budget is here...in the red...the state needs the tax money!
I'm now wondering why I even voted for this bozo! :-X

Corzine is an arrogant, spoiled little rich kid, who is "Taking his ball and going home." This is what happens
when a man buys his way into office. What he is not thinking of is the "Trickle down effect." Most people
who go to Atlantic City, go to gamble. Without the Casinos people will say home, then what happens to
the little guy who has a small stand on the Boardwalk. What about the novelty shops that depend on
tourism for their income. It is not just the Casinos that lose money, No Casino tax revenue, lower toll
booth traffic, no lottery sales, all mean millions of dollars a day lost that will never be recovered, meaning
a bigger deficit. Corzine is supposed to be serving the people, instead he is serving himself.
My wife plays the scratch off tickets twice a week, she has winners she can't cash. I know when this is
over, I will never buy another lottery ticket in the State of New Jersey.

"let his family down, and he'll probably let New Jersey down, too."
--Mrs. Corzine (ex)
You'll take your 7% sales tax or NO Atlantic City for you!
>:(

This is exactly how it is with this stubborn fool. It's "My way or no way" in Corzine's mind no matter
who it hurts. He is nothing but a bully trying to strong arm the little guy. In reality, he is committing
political suicide. The little guy will remember come election time, unless he buys the office again.

My cousin (Sharon Elghanayan, nee Levine, the Elghanayan comes from her dirty rich Persian-Jewish developer ex) is currently his steady girlfriend, and my grandmother is in close touch with her sister Lorelei. Honestly, all Jersey politicians suck (McGreevey, Forrester, etc.) Everything here is controlled by morons or the mob...it's just in our political blood. Now, why didn't Jon Stewart (Leibovitz) stick around and run for office ;D ? He would have done a far better job than any of the clowns we have right now. And Corzine wants to shut down the abbott inner city preschool program my mom works for.

Everything that gets done in NJ is mostly for the rich-as-h*ll people who live and work in the NORTHERN part of the State...or for certain Southern NJ communities, again where rich people who are a part of companies based in Philly..they get the best of everything, politicians pass laws that are what those rich people want...Screw the people who live in the inner cities here, like Newark or Camden who have to worry about where are they gonna spend the night or whether they will have food in their bellies everyday......or the average middle class family trying to have a decent life....Even though I live here in NJ, I still think there's many things about our elected officials that are screwy..yes, the State government here is screwed up..and has been for the last 25 or 30 years! Why...MISMANAGEMENT OF FUNDS as well as Government officials who don't give a rat's arse about you if you're not wealthy! >:(
BTW, the 'crisis' has been resolved for now..the budget passed. But it will happen again next year...

"You're fired!"
Trump for Gov '08
". . . you take the United Negro college fund model that what a waste it is to lose one's mind or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is."

As someone who lives in the Garden State, I'm never going to vote for The Donald if he runs for governor. Why? He's mismanaged his properties so bad at times that Trump World's Fair casino went BANKRUPT, and he's had money problems at Trump Plaza, Taj Mahal, and Trump Marina...if he could mismanage funds at HIS OWN casinos...I shudder at the thought of how much RED INK the State budget will have...
BTW everything here is back on track...for now.

I had fun at the Trump Plaza when I visted. Of course I was only 12 years old.

Well, that's the perfect mental age for anything Trump...too old for Elmo, to young for Limbaugh!
