I miss it all! Oh and when those game sites worked. Now half of them the games don’t or load slow. But they were way better than phone games now. But 2000’s internet was awesome! Yahoo Answers I was on all the time. When IMDb had their message boards and they were super active. Fan websites. Angel fire. MySpace. Omg!

I also remember chat rooms too, I had always participated in them as much as possible during the early to mid 2000's.

Don't forget ebaumsworld.com, the go to source for jokes such as the prank call sound boards and cartoons like Peanut Butter Jelly Time, and viral videos like the Star Wars Kid and Nooma Nooma (before YouTube).

I remember playing Spades in Yahoo Games in the early 2000's.

Outsmart! It was a quiz game show where you played against celebrities. They would obviously pre-record theirs. But it was fun feeling like I was playing against people like Hanson lol.

This was pretty much my introduction to the internet as a kid, Windows XP. I remember waking up early in the mornings during the summers and weekends just to go into my parents' master bedroom just to play on websites like Miniclip and Addicting Games pretty much all day long.

Yeah, those sounds will forever be etched into my brain, those familiar chimes I heard every single day for a while.

I played one of those as well! (About 20 years ago now.) I’m sure the creators of the game wanted to make you feel like you were actually playing against the celebs. But you were right, it was probably pre-recorded (for all the possible scenarios).

Me too. That was how we connected to the internet from home until we got broadband.
