the first half was verry core 00s. flip phones still dominated, emo culture was still dominant. ps2 was still main console (next to the xbx 36, but that lasted a lot longer well into the 2010s) around the second half of 2007 is when the faintest signs of 10s influence started to creep in. lady gaga brough dance music to the mainstream which would eventually lead to the edm music of the verry early 10s (2010-2011)Obama started to appear in political discourse s the political mood shifted away from the conservatives paranoid atmosphere of the core 00s.

I would say 2008 is when things started changing and by 2012 is when 2000s culture was completely gone and we had now moved into modern culture. completely.
