Subject: Surprising thought about 2004

Next year in 2023, 2004 will be as far away from the present as it was from 1985, which is the year that Back to the Future came out.
I mean, I know that's LITERALLY how time works, but the thought is still kind of surprising to me.

And in 2004 there was a song by Bowling For Soup called "1985" about feeling nostalgic for that time.

It's surprising because not as much technical advancement occurred in the past 19 years compared to the previous 19 years
