If you look up #Y2K or #Y2Kaesthetics on Twitter, Tik Tok or Instagram, you'll see a lot of young people are into reviving 2000s fashion, art and electronics design.

Disney just put out the high school musical revival and Kim Possible revival which originally came out in 2006. Seems they’re more on board with reviving projects that came out in the 2000s which is a sign that 2000s nostalgia is here.

The Y2K (late 90's/early 2000's) nostalgia seems to have come & gone. I feel like we're in the early stages of a mid-2000's revival, especially with the whole distorted guitar thing going on rn. Emo looks/fashion are also seeming to make a comeback (ignore my biased pfp lol)

I struggle to find things to be nostalgic about from the mid 2000's? it was a huge downgrade, I could name on probably 2 hands the stuff I enjoyed.

I probably would end up being suicidal after the optimism of Y2K faded from my mind, had I been a legal adult at the time of the early 2000s. At least until 2003, at earliest.

That's actually the part of the 2000's I'm most nostalgic about, particularly 2004 and 2005. So many good movies, movies, video games, and TV shows came out during this time and I was just enjoying life in general.

Yes, the early 00's after 9/11 were a depressing time for me. It didn't really get better until around Christmas of 2003. There was a brief moment of relief during the second half of 2002.
