I don't care what anyone says. This was the best era in the 21st century and I am grateful I got the chance to experience just that even though it was only during a short part of my childhood.

Before someone brings up 9/11, just think of moments before then. For me it didn't make much of a difference but I can see adults and older kids during the time being depressed because of it. The early 2000s was still an awesome era.

Well I consider the time Pre-9/11 to still be the Y2K era, which was a good time especially 2000. When I think of the Early 2000's, I think of the period from 9/11/01 to about late 2003-ish. Sure, the pop-culture such as the music, movies, TV, and video games were fun but I was going through some rough times in my personal life. It was an ebb until 2004 when things started getting better again.

I try not to do that anymore personally and just divide the eras numerically.

2000 to 2003 were good times for me in my personal life. I loved Dance, and Electronic music! I would listen to club music. My favorite early 2000's year was 2002.

I doubt I would enjoy being alive in that era for very long until maybe 2003 at earliest, but I sometimes wonder if I'd have any good memories from Y2K if I were born in '86 or '87 as I wish happened with me.
