I just miss the 2000s a lot. It just felt like these years were so much more simple and carefree. So much change happened in the '00s as well which made it very interesting and I just wish I can go back I'm very nostalgic for it even the late '00s feel nostalgic to me now.

What do you miss about it?

It's funny how the 2000's in the 2020's feels like how the 1980's felt in the 2000's, a simpler time I felt nostalgic for and wished I could go back to. Back then I was really missing the 1980's. Now I'd gladly go back to the 2000's.

I feel you. I would rather go back to any year of the 2000s than go and live another day of 2020. I've been nostalgic for the 2000s since 2014 but I never thought the (temporary) present could get progressively worse to where it became a catastrophic nightmare.

2017 or 2018 for fandom stuff but same for 2000s, between 2005-2012 the latest. I just wish I were older back then.

Maybe when I download Flash Player 9, I'll find out. At least now I know that it was 2007 when my imagination reached an all-time high, because I was wondering if I got the two events in my head confused.

I fondly think of 2007 as the 'Year of Imagination', or the 'Year of Imagination Itself'. The entity I made up back then, the imaginary species, was a truly-alien alien, rather than a humanoid alien.

I only miss the pre-2004 part of the decade, which were my elementary school years. I doubt I'll ever feel nostalgic for the rest of the decade.  8-P

I find that many people are starting to feel less nostalgic for their adolescence in the 21st century compared to previous generations. I don’t feel nostalgic for much of anything post 2007. Maybe a little reminiscent but junior high and high school were not the best years for me.

Can't believe the 2000s are 20 years old this decade. TOM 2 is already 20! Soon, SpongeBob season 2 will be 20 years old...

I miss 2004 and 2005, but not so much 2006 and 2007. I miss 2008 though.

I miss 06-09. Early childhood from 00-05 was quite rough and we moved houses like 4 times.

I also wasn't able to appreciate the 2000s while they were still going on.

I miss the mid to late 2000s. I still have some home movies from 2003 and 2005 of myself. I have not watched them since then. I know what will happen if I do watch them... :\'( :\'(
