Do you think the music of 2002 sounds more like 2000 or 2004?
I think it was more like 2000 tbh.

2004 without a doubt. 2000 was Y2K, while 2002 and 2004 were part of the post-9/11 era that took up pretty much the first half of the decade. Glam/bling rap and R&B was big at the time.

It's more closer to 2000 to me. Crunk music wasn't popular in 2002 and artists like Nelly, Ja Rule, and Ashanti were still in their peaks.

2000 of course. In 2002 you had Usher, Nelly, Ashanti, Ja rule, Blink 182, No Doubt, Nsync, etc. the music of 2002 still had more of a y2k vibe.
