I threw out my back lifting heavy bags of dog food at my job a couple of years ago. That was my first experience with “old man back pain.” I’m hitting the big 3-0 in a couple of months so I guess it doesn’t get any better from there. :P

I going to be 50 in just a couple of years and my back hurts occasionally, I have to learn to pace myself sometimes.

I hurt my back while weight lifting at the gym. I was doing it improperly. Don't be too shy to ask the scary muscle men at the gym for help on technique, kids.

Well, it was a good thing this happened when I was 25. It only hurt for a day or two :P (it will probably come back with a vengeance when I'm 40 :-\\)

I had issues with my back for decades. Now I am spoiled and have a massage weekly (who makes house calls-well, for me anyway). Yeah, it sounds like an indulgence but it is pain management. Right now I am in EXTREME pain and I feel like Quasimodo-all hunched over. That should be eliminated this evening when I have my session with my massage therapist.

My purpose was to make you reflect on the good times. I did not expect people to actually reply to the title itself smh.

You should've worded the title differently.

That’s ridiculous. Everything doesn’t have to be taken so literally. It’s a person’s responsibility to read the first post in a topic before posting a reply. If anyone here who is actually talking about their back did that, they would be responding differently.
He worded his topic just fine.

When i read all the titles people choose for their threads it is either a specific year or a decade. Pay attention to the boards.
It became a little boring so i decided to come up with something different for once. :)

You don’t need to explain yourself. Your thread title is fine and creative.

"Does your back hurt yet?" is me suggesting that we are getting older, silly billy :P It should be self-explanatory!
One can argue that everyone can experience that but this thread is obviously not about that.

I know the OP is very long and boring but you have to read every word of it before you reply to a topic. Look at the last word in the OP

Well Harleys are known to have a very smooth ride, plus their V-twin engines are notorious for vibrating, so if anything it would be rather therapeutic.

Not really.
Thankfully not addictive. I use it often especially in winter to help keep blood clots from forming in my legs, and to help dissolve ones I do get. I only have issues during the coldest parts of winter. Like the polar vortex that is coming so I need to be careful. Too much will screw up your hearing. Thankfully it's only temporary, it's not a nice feeling when everything you hear sounds like it's coming from a blown speaker. But better than dying of a blood clot.

My grandma takes low dose aspirin daily after she had an angina attack. Helps to thin the blood. Aspirin is just a standard anti-inflammatory painkiller so isn’t addictive at all.
Just don’t take aspirin and ibuprofen together.

They’re both anti-inflammatories and essentially do the same thing, so taking them together can increase the risk of side effects, such as stomach ulcers and diarrhoea. Both are fine to take with paracetamol though (or acetaminophen as the Americans call it), or opioid painkillers like codeine and tramadol (they are addictive and prescription only).

Same here. I’ve been through way too many medical issues in my life and am way too familiar with anatomy and meds and all.
