I'm I the only one who pronounces the previous decade as the Twenty-Hundreds instead of the Two-Thousands? I was watching The Real (talk show) the other day and Loni Love was talking about something that happened back in 2006 but she pronounced the year Twenty-'O Six and I was blown away lol.

I always say it as "two thousands".

It all boils down to 'the lower the number is, the easier it is to pronounce, the better'. The decimal short-cut works for the 1900s, but not the 2000s.
nineteen hundreds > thousand nine hundreds
twenty hundreds < two thousands

2020 (twenty/twenty) will be clearer to say.

For the LAST TIME PEOPLE! This is how it's always gone for the majority of the people!
2000 - 2009: "Two Thousand and ......"
2010 - present: "Twenty ....."
It's always been like this, and you can go watch live news, sports, celebrities interviews, or whatever, and they all say the same thing. It's just come natural to us as a society. If you haven't been paying attention to this then you have amnesia. Now enough of these threads. This is like the 4th time I've seen this simple question this year. ::)
