The smells of each year of the 2000's
What does each year smell like to you?
You can include anything that reminds you
of any particular year.
I will start.
2002
- The smell of Mountain Dew Code Red which had just been released a few months prior
- Game Boy Advance packaging, it had a smell to it, like a cardboard new smell.
- Lip balm, Cherry kind and Strawberry
- DVD packaging in general
- Blockbuster video, it smelled like popcorn + Candy plus suede smell
- The smell of outside Snow, it has a smell to it
- any kind of Cotton candy perfume
- Lays potato chips, ridges
- The smell of Kb toys
-Wet naps, we used them as weapon super soakers lol
- Lemon starbursts
- Chicken
-The smell of the Lunchroom smelling like Sh*T
- The orange chicken smell at the Food court at the mall

In 2000 our neighbor's ceptic tank overflowed - need I say more?
In 2002 there was a fire in a nearby field, and an air inversion - there was a distinct (and pleasant) "weedy" smell ;)
In 2005 someone left some fish in a neighbor's trunk, in summer, for about 2 weeks. He bought a new car

I had my first White Castle slider (actually several) in 2000 after a drunken night on the town in Chicago with a friend of mine.
I will never, ever forget the smell the next day. :o :o :o 8-P

I swear. the first person who says that "____" smell is much more 2xxx than 2xxy is going to get fudged every day from me for the rest of their days or mine on this board.
