What are some characteristics that made you a 2000's kid? These can't be things that bled well into the 2010's and/or started several years before 2000.

Here are some I came up with, please add some more;

-Using the PS2's DVD player feature.
-Pretending to be in KND.
-DS linking.
-Seeing Shrek in theaters, it's installments came out 2001-2010.
-Watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 2011 was bittersweet because it was the last Harry Potter movie.

-Playing Mario Kart DS when it released.

I didn't get Mario Kart DS until Christmas 2009. But, I technically did get to experience it in the 2000's. :D

I played it one time on my brother's DS.

Nice, it and Mario Kart Wii are my favorite Mario Kart games to this day. It's probably because they were my first ones (got both on Christmas '09.)

When i played Super Mario Bros for the DS i thoughtthe Koopa Troopa's were Yoshi  ;D

Yeah this is mainly for 90s babies or 2000 borns who probably saw the coverage on TV.

There's also a miniseries on the 2000s coming out in July of this year.

I could have had all of them at the same time too, but my Gamecube broke down, and I got the PS3 much later.
