For me it was 2011 I think, others have said 2009, 2008
Altho a good majority of Blockbusters were open in 2009

2011 was the last time I went to Blockbuster, but that was when I lived in the city. In my town where I live now it closed sometime around 2009.

I wish Blockbuster would come back, it was such a staple of the 2000s

I think 2011, in canada we had a more popular version of blockbuster called "Rogers Video", they were everywhere up until 2011/12 ish

We never had a Blockbuster, but we did have a movie-rental place that we always went to that closed down around 2011. It was turned into a mattress store.
