Yeah I didn't hear it until September 2008.  I liked the song when it first came out but I wasn't really a Lady Gaga fan until Poker Face and Paparazzi.  It's hard to believe the song is 10 years old.  I miss that era so much.

No it was on the charts in the USA in April all throughout the summer of 2008.  It was just burred deep in the charts like in the 80 - 100 range until the fall. It released in the US first in April.

MTV was not even playing the song until June/July, that is when Gaga went on TRL for promo,  no radio stations on the east coast were
playing just dance until Late July, The song was not released in the USA in april, it was overseas first and then got really big in Canada and
then the US picked up on it in the summer

It's bittersweet in my opinion. The nu-metal scene and the 2000s indie/hipster scene are gone and those are what I mainly identify with. Although they have passed, it's nice knowing that I was a part of something in history. The kids today are bobbing to their trap today but it'll fade away sooner than they think.

My advice is to keep wearing what you're wearing but update it or try to carry it a bit further. And most importantly, be nice, cool, and nonchalant about your fashion and you'll inspire others to take what you got on.

Actually, Telephone might be my favorite track. Both of those are my favorite Gaga tracks. Everything else by is either ok or I don't care either way. I still hated the way the 2010s just chucked here away tho.

It's the chorus, it just doesn't to it for me.

I liked the era of Gaga where the songs became a lot more fast paced with higher BPM. Poker Face/Bad Romance basically.

My favourite song of hers is either Dance In The Dark or Born This Way.

I agree with you that the radio/album version of Just Dance is actually one of Gaga's weakest.  However it has some excellent remixes, one of which I posted earlier in this thread.

I've actually recently developed a new appreciation for ARTPOP.  I didn't like the album very much when it first came out but it actually has some decent tunes.  I wasn't a big fan of Joanne however.

I liked this at the time, I don't listen to it as much now though it still brings back good memories of that time. But yeah 10 years now wow. It seems like yesterday in a way that I was bragging about Gaga right on here, I was actually a fan before most people. I think I heard that song around early summer '08, but it took till around the end of the year to get big.
