I can't be the only one that thinks this. Fashion in the 2010s is a huge improvement imo.

Yeah I agree, it's basically the 80s-90s scenario all over again. Meaning the 2020s will probably see a comeback of tacky fashion again.

Funnily enough I rang up a customer the other day who was wearing a track suit. It was a grey one I believe. She must’ve been in her 40’s (granted she looked good for her age), cause there’s no way someone in their 20’s or 30’s is going to be caught dead wearing that in 2018. I honestly haven’t seen someone wear those unironically in a few years. It felt like I was transported back to 2007 ;D.

The '80s had better fashion than the '00s in my opinion.
Obviously, the '80s had some terrible fashion trends but not as bad as the '00s IMO :P.

The early to mid-00's was all about showing as much skin as possible. I saw it in pre-teen and teenager girls, roughly age 10 to 25.
There was even a few articles back in the early and mid-00's dubbing it, The Britney Effect. But it wasn't just Britney Spears, it was Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Pink, etc, etc.

True, and those btw are sexy af :D. But this lady I'm referring to had the classic Juicy Couture style sweatsuit. Perhaps it was made recently, but the styling was certainly dated.

Yeah that version is way better. And sexay! c<qwqc Bellbottoms look ridiculous as sportswear, and even then need the thighs to be really tight to offset the bag, and shouldn't cover the shoe, no shoe covering!

I remember in 5th grade for some show in the cafeteria, can't remember what it was tho, I just remember the 2008 200-late song playing, and some girls in front of me had whale tails. Only time I remember seeing them, thankfully (the girls were a bit overweight). Very classy '00s, lol
Yeah 2000s fashion was trashy and showed a lot of skin (I don't care too much about that except for that it'd be cold, though I live in a super hot place but cover myself up way too much (hoodies, longsleeves, greatcoats) because I think it looks better on me, but some people look good in revealing clothes, just don't pretend it's classy), but I actually like a lot of it. It was bold and exciting, unlike this decade which has been cold, drab and mediocre. Only thing I really don't like is the orange skin/guido thing since it looked terribly unhealthy, that damn glitter, how washed out SOME of it was (which doesn't matter as much since this decade it's like 90% drab and navy and cold grey and snot green) and the baggy clothes. If that'd have been fixed, 2000s would've been almost perfect to me.

I agree. I think only celebrities can pull off those outfits though. Best fashion era for me would be 2015, the year of minimalism and basic styles.
