The 2003 one was too, I think, but in a more minimalist way.

I was never that into Star Wars back when the original Clone Wars cartoon was popular. I did watch some of the CGI one though as I was more into it at that time. However, for my age, my answer should be the animated cartoon from 2002-03.

Both. The second one was the only Cartoon Network show I watched after Toonami went kerplunk.

Sorry for the bump of this thread.
Technically, I grew up with both versions of the Clone Wars. However, I didn't watch the 2003 Clone Wars.
Originally, I did watch the first 2 or so seasons of the 2008 Clone Wars but then I stopped watching it. I wasn't a big fan of it (I thought it was meh to OK) and Cartoon Network deteriorated during that time...so yeah.

Both, really. I played all the games on the left and right, have read several books from both eras, watched both shows, but I like the 2008 show more than the 2003 mini series.

I never watched the 2008 series, except a few episodes, probably because I was losing interest in CN at the time (also, I thought there was no point in covering the Clone Wars again when they already did). However, many people from what I've heard say the 2008 show is better and has more character development. I'll take their word for it, based on its high IMDb score.
