Subject: What year was the Epilogue of the 2000's ?

The epilogue (The extra added chapter that wraps up the story) coming after the official end of the story
2007? 2008? 2009?
This isn't asking when did the 2000's feel end, rather when was the epilogue

This was tough but I am going to say 2010.

I would say around 2010/11. Definelty not 2007! That was a core 2000s year without a doubt

I really think 2011 is the "epilogue" of the 2000s decade because that's when Bin Laden was killed, the Iraq War concluded, and the last distinctly 2000s (not 2000s/2010s hybrid) media was significant for the last time. As I've noted before, I think the 2010s became culturally dominant around the turn of 2010, but it was specifically 2011 that the world of the 2000s expired for good.

Predominately I'd say 2009.
However some of the last traces of the 2000's died throughout 2012-2013. 2013 to present has been fully 2010's.

The 2000s culturally ended in 2008 with Obama, electropop explosion the beginning of classic 2010s shows. The last remaining 2000s influences were gone by 2013 with the switchoff of analog TV, Samsung and Apple smartphones dominating the market and every school classroom having an interactive whiteboard.
