Subject: What did early 2000s kids truly miss out on?

We brag about how great our childhoods were, but what did we really miss out on compared to older/younger people?
I'd say we missed out on TLC being a good channel. I believe that by the time of our childhoods, it had deteriorated mostly into reality and home decorating shows, with almost no shows about learning (except for cartoons like Kenny the Shark and Magic school bus reruns).

Even though they were kept on Discovery Kids until late 2010 when they turned into The Hub.
