Subject: Early 2000s R&B
Written By: Eazy-EMAN1995 on 07/14/16 at 10:48 pm
This is the era of R&B that I loved during the decade. Sure the mid 00s had good, decent R&B but Early has it beat by a LONG SHOT!!! Even though this era wasn't near as good as the 90s era R&B, the era still gave us great artists such as 112, Jagged Edge, Aliyah, TLC, Monica, Sisqo, Joe, Next, Usher, Destinys Child, Mario, and Ashanti.

Can we please stop overrating the 90s? The 90s and Early 2000s are different enough eras.
Your list sums it up. I would just add Ginuwine since he was still at his peak until around 2003.

I've been meaning to respond to this topic. I definitely enjoyed the R&B of that time frame. There were so many to choose from and the music kept people in a good mood. Furthermore, the songs even have replay value to where you can never get tired of them unless you change it. Despite the songs being old now, I still listen and enjoy them every time along with the 90s R&B. Hopefully this genre makes a huge comeback soon. There are absolutely some good ones in this decade. Unfortunately however, it's currently not as popular on the radio like the other genres. (except within the black community)

Well, if you could probably get the people who thought the early 2000s were 90s, then it wouldn't be as overrated as it sounds. But sadly, nobody could because the majority doesn't give a sh*t anyway.

I liked the first one you chose (Alicia Keys' "Fallin'"). O0 Can't think of many others right now...but they might come to me later on.
