Not really. Honestly, I didn't hear about this "political polarization" stuff until I joined this forum. Obama's approval ratings are in the positive (53% approve, 44% disapprove today). Bush's approval rating at the same point in time in 2008 were hovering around 30% (32% approve, 62% disapprove). I guess one could argue that the 2000s are less polarized because everyone hated Bush, while the country can't agree to hate or like Obama, but this sounds very nitpicky :P

The early 00s have a very strong and excellent culture that makes it stick out as it's own distinct culture. 2003/2004 onward is just bland, lame, generic bullsh!t.
