lol couldn't go anywhere without seeing some parody, nod, or its style in action/superhero movies...

I saw two of the movies and look back and feel like they were overrated. Just too weird for me. I remember Mountain Dew special editions inspired by The Matrix and things like that.

I remember The Matrix back in the mid 2000s when it had The Matrix Reloaded.

I'm pretty sure the Matrix-influenced commercials were for Powerade.
