There's probably at least one year where nothing that significant happened, you can't pinpoint exactly how things were that year. I seriously do not remember anything from 2006.

I can't really remember anything significant in my life that happened in '03...I was in 6th-7th grade. My family even skipped going on vacation that summer.

2000 and 2003. It's like I completely blocked these two years from memory I don't know why ?

I have every year from 2000-2010 in clear memory and definetly remember the atmosphere. That's probably because I have a 'special system' in my mind to sort my history of life. I may have lost some events, but it's not that there is any year I have definetly no memory of - especially not within the 2000's. I actually have at least one memory from any year since 1989  ???

The only years I really don't remember are (obviously) 1986 and 1987.

I would also have to say 2000. Just like the 90s, my memories of that year have gotten pretty fuzzy as time has passed.

I perfectly remember every year in the '00s, I was 14-24 during the decade after all.

I remember ever year pretty well, but to your point I think I would say 2007 was the year with the fewest interesting memories. It was one year that I kind of just floated through, not a whole lot went on. I was 15 and in 9th/10th grades so life was kind of monotonous.

2000. 2005, 2006, and 2007 are like the same year to me. 2008-2012 also seem like a single year to me though I got out of university.

I was in my 20s in the 2000s and I still don't remember 2000 or 2003:/  I have completely blocked these two years from my memories. I don't even know how I did that lol!

Well, like others, I have memories from every year of the decade.  If I had to choose the year with the least interesting memories though...maybe 2009?  They weren't bad years for me by any means and naturally I remember the pop culture, current events, etc.  If I had to choose a worst year, it would probably be 2002.  However, I kind of muddled through 2008 and 2009 pretty aimlessly and not much of interest really happened, particularly in 2009, in my personal life.  2010-2012 have been the exact opposite, with lots of very vivid memories.

For me, the years 03-07 kind of just blended together.  I don't really remember much from that period pop culturally unless it comes to my personal life  :(

I don't remember much from 2002 either. I get it confused with 03 for some reason.

I would say 2005.  Not much happened for me in 2005 of significance.  It wasn't a horrible year but wasn't a great one.  Nothing really stands out about it. 2009 was a horrible year for me, probably the worst of my life.

I think the only thing I remember from 2005 is that disgusting James Blunt song "You're Beautiful". It's like one of the worst songs from the 00's. That song signified the downfall of music.

I remember "You're Beautiful" as a 2006 song, at least in the US. Do you live in the UK? Since he is from there so I'm guessing he was on the UK charts earlier. But yeah hearing that song every day of 2006 ruined that year for me. I don't remember much else about that year, except "Sexy Back", "Promiscous", Borat, and the release of the Wii and PS3.

2003 is another year I don't remember much about, except the war in Iraq. I also don't remember much details about 2002.

I remember ever single year in the 00's, but I can definitely say that the least memorable year for me was 2004. Compared to other years, not a lot of things stood out.

With the exception of Obama winning, I barely remember much going on back in '08, that is honestly one of the least memorable years of the 00s.

yup. 06 and 07 for me are just really blurry. When ever I think I have a memory from 06 it actually happened in 07 and vice versa  :P 08 was when things got juicy  ;D

Definitely 2004. It's like the year never happened. It feels like it went from 2003 straight to 2005 to me.  :P
