I know more of Kelly Clarkson's songs, and enjoy most of them. As for Katy, the one song of hers that I actually like the best is "Hot N Cold."

If we are going by who has a better voice it's Kelly Clarkson. Who's the better artist? I'd say Kelly but Katy has only been mainstream for about 3 years now. A real good question should be why we are comparing only girl female singers?

Im definitely more of a Kelly Clarkson fan overall, "Breakaway" is such an awesome album! Katy has some good songs too though overall I think she's more throwaway. As for looks I actually think Kelly has a cuter face but body is no comparison...Katy is better.

Kelly Clarkson has some good pipes. Katy Perry is a terrible singer imo.

I like Katy better. "Hot N' Cold" and, "I Kissed A Girl" are catchy. "Firework" is a good song.

Katy P song "I Kissed a Girl" was really good, so I choose her.
