Subject: Anybody remember the plaid fad?

During my freshman year in high school (2006-2007), I noticed a lot of people wearing plaid shorts. I even bought a pair of plaid shorts myself. Does anyone else remember this fad? I think it was really a mid-2000s thing, because it seemed to have started dying off by 2007 or 2008.

I wore the exact same thing, and I stiill wear them today.

Flannel and plaid shirts were much more popular in the 90s if you ask me. But I do remember in the mid-00s I saw that plaid came back in some movies and tv shows a little but went away pretty fast by 2006. I remember it becoming re-popular again in late 2008 up till now at my high school although it's lighter material compared to that of the 90s.
