One of my favourites of 2000 at the time was the great 'Move Your Body' by Eiffel 65

Another one I really enjoyed was Toploader's cover of the classic 'Dancing in the Moonlight'

And a guilty pleasure was 'More Than I Need to Know' by Scooch

A Thousand Miles---Vanessa Carlton
Can't Stop---Red Hot Chilli Peppers!! (Still in love with this one)
Also, I remember the first time I ever heard Avril Lavigne's "Sk8r Boy." I was in a van full of a bunch of other middle schoolers on the way to a "bonding" trip for my school's science team (LOL). I think every other person had already heard the song & knew all the words. It must have come on the radio 10 times during that car ride. And after listening to everyone sing along to it each and every time it played, I wished I had never heard the song.

"A Thousand Miles", Vanessa Carlton. I used to hate the song, but then I was a 13-year-old boy trying to be macho back in middle school! ;D
"Dilema" Nelly featuring Kelly Rowland. Love the song. I used to hate it also, but it was because I wasn't into anything rap or hip hop back then.
"Hero" Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott. Absolutely beautiful!

The "What's Love" remix by a famous rapper and was it Ashanti who also sang in it?
I also remember I liked "Gotta Get Through This" by Daniel Beddingfield. Even though it came out in 2001, it was still huge in 2002.

Bingo! I remember now, the rapper was a very big dude.
Ashanti was huge for like 2 albums then went away after 2003. Never was a hardcore fan of hers, but I did like her during this song.

Yeah I remember "What's Luv" I loved that back then. Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You out of my Head" was awesome. "Always On Time" was another one of my most played rap songs in those days. I liked pop and hip-hop as usual. Vanessa Carlton, Avril, Pink all great stuff. "Foolish" was great. Missy Elliott's "Work It" too huge song at the end of the year. Loved "Die Another Day" and "All the Things She Said" too. So many memories. :)

The only one on that poll is Hey Ya! Btw, I didn't know BEP was around in 2003. Here are my other ones:

Faded - SoulDecision

I still remember all the words to Faded! I can't believe I used to sing along to that when I was 11 years old. The lyrics are incredibly suggestive :D
I burned a CD for the very first time in either late 2000 or early 2001, which is what makes that time in music to memorable for me. It was the first time I could have all my favorite songs together in one place and "on the go" with my Walkman CD player lol.

You know what? Looking back at the 1999-2002 era, music wasn't so bad. :-\\
But maybe it was just my teenage hormones that made me hate everything! ;D

I actually like "Just Like A Pill". "Get The Party Started" was close to just being repetitive noise.
