When 12 am January 1st 2010 hits will you be relieved that the 00s are over ? I'll personally find it strange writing '10 etc on papers instead of the 0 first

Yes, I'll be relieved it is over. Then maybe all these stupid f*cking threads about how sucky the 00s were and what the '10s will be like and all that other sh*t will stop.

And whistledog is right. New Year's Eve 2010 would actually be December 31, 2010, NOT December 31, 2009.

Well your "edumacation" has sadly failed you, because the decade ends on December 31st, 2009, just as the 90s ended on december 31st 1999, etc, just thought you should know

The title of this thread is "New Years eve 2010", which IS December 31, 2010, NOT December 31, 2009. If you had put "New Year's Eve 2009", it would refer to next week's celebration, which would make it the end of the decade celebration.
So blame yourself for the dumb thread title.

By then, they will be on to topics discussing current likes about the '10s. and future predictions for the '11s.

The decade ends when I say it ends
