As I said in another thread, if I was the judge in this case I'd sentence the dad to have "BALLOON HOAX IDIOT DAD" tattooed on his forehead.

Yall know, before all this mess happened, I did see them on Wife Swap (or Trading Spouses)! LOL. And as soon as  I saw them, I was like, "I've seen them before"

They switched with a super overprotective family and the  Mayumi (?) was bickering with the swap father to let the kids have some adventure and go play. I'd LOVE to know what that man thinks now! LOL!

To be honest, I don't think Mayumi was that bad.  After the incident, I rewatched the episode (I watch Wife Swap occasionally when I am really bored) and while she wasn't the best person in the world, she honestly seemed like a pretty good person.  The husband was the one yelling at the other wife and throwing milk at her and stuff.  Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if he was an abusive husband.  One of the husband's former "apprentices" appeared on CNN a few days ago and said that while he couldn't go into detail because he's talking to the police, he did mention he had info on the husband's relationship with Mayumi and that it was clearly negative.

He also mentioned that the husband told him to make a list of fifty publicity stunts for a tv show back months aqo and that the balloon thing was on the list.  He planned this out quite a long while in advance.
