I think if you've notice one of the big differences between the '90s and '00s is the big increase in vehicles that display advertising on the vehicle. There was especially a noticeable uptick in 2000-2001, with the west coast leading the way. Of course trucks have always have some form of advertising, but in recent years it has really expanded to look like (moving advertisements). With all of the digital billboards, car wrapping, and texting and talking this decade, as well as motorists going faster in good traffic, I feel that the quality of driving habits has definately decreased.

In the 2010's the trend will continue in what will turn our to have been a predictable manner.

Advertisers will take advantage of the "car wrapping fad" and start wrapping the drivers themselves.  People will initially recoil at the thought, but they will ultiately come to embrace it as simply another form of tattoo art.
