When I search the old archives the oldest ones are from 1998.
But I also heard that 1995 was when this website was started.
Who is correct?

inthe00s as a separate conglomeration of all the previous sites' messageboards was first established on April 21, 2004.

inthe80s.com started off as Chucky G's 80s page and has existed in one form or another since 1995.

Actually...
This version of the inthe00s site was established on April 21, 2004. I think the name was established sometime in late 2001 or early 2002; there was an old version of the messageboard, which was powered by YaBB. It crashed on April 15, 2004, and after a week of reconfiguring the board and getting everything back on track, this version (powered by SMF) opened six days later.

I've seen an old thread on here from 1999 on accident. It was on December 31, 1999 and about how different it was from 1990 and how everyone was wondering what the 2000's were like hahaha

^L.o.l. ::) I am pretty sure that the domain name "inthe00s" was established on this site by 2002.
Any threads you see from the archives from prior to '00 were probably from "inthe80s.com", which was Chuck's original site. Inthe70s and 90s didn't get started until sometime in the early 00's.
