Subject: Burger King is on a Roll..
Written By: LyricBoy on 04/19/09 at 7:34 am
Fresh on the heels of the "Texican Whopper" debacle, The King has now decised to sexualize SquareBobSpongePants.
While advertizing a kid's meal, they show people gyrating and dancing while a worked-over version of "Baby Got Back" is played, with Sir Mix-A-Lot doing the voice-over. "I like square butts" is the tag line...
At the end, Mix proclaims "booty is booty!".
Do they really need to be selling to kids this way? ??? ::)

Why not? Sometimes the meat in their burgers tastes like a sponge anyway

It's aimed towards adults/teens to buy their young siblings, kids, and/or nieces/nephews a kids meal.
Also it airs on "grown-up" channels, which Nickelodeon airs a generic commercial with a family on a beach.
Though I don't like fast food hamburgers, the commercial's funny :D

I admit it. I was watching "Ow! My Balls!" the other day and saw the ad, and I laughed.

Carl's Jr. did it first, though, and the Star is very angry with the King.
The BK SpongeBob ad is a great (and comparatively tame) parody of the Carl's Jr. "Flat Buns" ad with the hot teacher.
Some serious (but interesting) commentary on the original ad is here: Idiocracy is Reality.

Well, don't look at me!
Fast food fries haven't been the same since they stopped deep fat frying them with lard! Those were the days!

I have. One of my friends thinks they're the best things ever.
She should be committed.

;D ;D
i'm pretty sure there's a tofu diet version that's just as good. ;D
i eat one like every three months and yet i still am loaded with guilt. i wanna be 17 again, i had a BK bacon-dub every day (without mustard or ketchup! because i was very specific that i wanted nothing to distract from the taste of the glorious salts and saturated fats!) and it made no difference to my slim trim teen physique. :\'(
