Subject: Saybia

Hi
One of my favourite groups from Denmark is Saybia. Saybia was formed in 1993, but released their debutalbum “The Second You Sleep” in 2002. Link to the band is: www.saybia.com and to their music:

I am wondering if they had any success outside Scandinavia. I know they toured Europe after the release of the first Album, but what about US/Canada?

Sorry, but I'm not particularly fond of this band. :-\\
Now to answer your question: "I Surrender" (2004) was a minor hit in Holland, where it got to #2 in bubbling under section of Top 40 (which means it peaked at #42 overall).
"Angel" (2006) was also released as a single, but did nothing. And that's it, I'm afraid.

I can't say as I've ever heard of Saybia. Not a whole lot of international bands seem to make it into Canada (or America) these days
To my knowledge, the last Danish artist to have radio success in Canada was Junior Senior with 'Move Your Feet' in 2003 and the last Danish artist to actually chart in the mainstream in Canada was Safri Duo and their single 'Played-A-Live (the Bongo Song) in 2001
