A lot of you guys are saying "Big Deal! ::)!!", but it is to a state that hasn't had one in the pageant's history. And to think she had to overcome a lot of sickness to even be in the running. Congrats, Katie Stam!

Not a big fan of the state, but congrats to her. To show you how out of it I am (I'm not a big pageant person obviously), I didn't even know someone from MY state won last year! My brother lived in Walled Lake (Miss America 2008 from there) for a while.

Indiana rocks. I spent 20 years there and spent much of that partying with the fine ladies that Indiana has to offer.
(By "party" I mean at bars having a good time... :P )
I am not surprised that we now have a Miss America from the Hoosier State. ;)
