Subject: Which Movies Are You Excited to See?
Written By: Penguin21 on 10/08/08 at 4:28 pm
I can't wait to see The Express which comes out this Friday!! I just graduated from Syracuse University last May and am so excited to see this movie which is based on our football legend, Ernie Davis. Too bad our football team in recent years has been embarrassing in terms of talent... lol
Check out the trailer... it looks like its going to be a great movie!

I wanna see Rachel Getting Married but it's not playing locally and I really don't wanna drive 90 miles to LA to watch a movie
I love horror but have no interest in Quarantine
I'd see Body of Lies but Leo makes me wanna 8-P
I wanna see Pride and Glory
Max Payne will def. score my $10

'Max Payne' starring Mark Wahlberg. In a way though, I am a bit skeptic
I can't say as I've ever seen a movie based on a video game that I actually liked. Last one I saw was 'Hitman' and I was totally disappointed. I hope 'Max Payne' can be the first one that I can officially enjoy!

I wanna see Bill Maher's new movie, "Religulous."
It's been 2 billion years of man-worship-sun VS. reason. For most of that 2 billion years, you believed what you were told to believe. Then you had the Reformation and the printing press and the bible and mass literacy. It was great to question the church but it was always run by hardasses like Martin Luther, John Calvin, Calvin Mather, Ayahtollah,Elijah Moahmmed, L. Ron Hubbard and that lot. It wasn't what you believed was a bunch of superstitious hocus-pocus it was that it was the wrong hocus pocus. Jesus on the other hand wasn't much of a hardass. He really didn't want you to be greedy, violent, and dishonest. Those were the big no-nos with the Jesus going by his own words, not the Gospels, written hundreds of yearl later.
The sex stuff is debatable, but the early Christians interpreted Christ as you don't get greedy you don't get nasty, and you certainly do not lie. That much is clear.
John Lennon encouraged the kids to ask too many questions, he said they were gonna crucify him, and they were right!

WHAT SHE SAID!!! the studio is playing a dangerous game. I mean the fans will go see it but I will not see it more than once in the theater out of spite... in fact I might buy a ticket for some other movie and then sneak in to HP instead that way they can't count me in their returns! REBELLION ROCKS!

At the moment, I want to see films such as 'Igor,' 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' and 'The House Bunny.' My cinema day has been changed from a Wednesday to a Friday but I'm too busy to go to the cinema today.

Sorry if it sounded like that... I am just a big movie fan and am excited to see The Express since it's based on my school's football star #44 Ernie Davis!...plus they filmed parts on our campus which is pretty cool. It's funny because I really don't car for football either but this story seems really inspirational! Can't wait to see it! Have you had a chance to see it yet?

It's dorky, but I have been awaiting the release of Passchendaele for like a year. Largest budget for any Canadian film ever (about 20 million), and directed by Paul Gross (of Due South and Slings and Arrows fame). It comes out Friday in Canada.

I haved always loved the works of Paul Gross. I hope that movie does well. Who knows, it might even succeed Bon Cop/Bad Cop as the highest grossing Canadian film ever
