Subject: Favorite Indiana Jones movie

I loved the first one personally because I thought the story was great and I loved the pairing of Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood. (Karen Allen) My second favorite one is The Last Crusaders because of Indiana's dad being added to the cast.

I haven't seen the new one yet, but out of the original three, my choice has to be 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'
Harrison Ford also appeared as Indiana Jones in the TV adaptation 'Young Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Blues'. He played Indy as an old man who could still kick ass ;D

Just saw the newest one today. The first half was so boring.....but it eventually picked up in the end.

I haven't seen the new one but my favourite out of the old trilogy is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I loved River Phoenix as young Indy and Sean Connery as Indy's father. I loved the religious theme (I've always been fascinating with religion even though the organisation of religion sickens me and I bare absolutely no religious beliefs). It's a really entertaining movie. I love the other two as well. All though the Temple of Doom is a little bit ish.

That's partly true. The Indian government reserved the right to edit/censor the segments filmed in their country and expressed their intent to do so. Paramount said - "No Deal"...

Raiders of the Lost Ark...was a breakthrough movie. It had more action packed into the first 5-10 mins than I had seen in any movie previously. I went and saw it again the next day.....

I actually enjoyed The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull a lot though.

I went into The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull expecting the worse, but I found it a great film, and I am still undecided on my favourite IJ movie.

I was going to see the new Indiana Jones movie, but read the reviews and decided to wait. It seems that the true Indiana Jones fan either love it or hate it. Everyone else seems to be in the middle.
Is it worth seeing?

So here is the deal. I like the original trilogy and to date have not seen the new film although I have hear good things about it. I picked the Temple of Doom simply because I really like the character of Short Round...I like his comedic relief.

It's hard to say, my brother is a crazy Indy freak but loved the new one. Didn't say it was his favorite of all time, but he liked it a lot.

I liked all three. I saw the 4th, Crystal Skull, only once and don't remember it very well.
The "Young Indie" series (Indie as a teen) was also very good, as was "Travels with My Father" (Indie as a kid of 8 or 9). I'd like to see them again. Here's a link
