Subject: strange deaths in my neighborhood...

first today i read this: WTF!!!????
Two teenage lives came to abrupt, mysterious ends on Staten Island this weekend, leaving both families grieving and searching for answers.
Alexander Catrama, a 17-year-old from Dongan Hills, suffered what police are calling an apparent heart attack inside a New Dorp home at about 8:30 a.m. Friday.
He died a little more than an hour later at Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
Later that evening, 18-year-old St. John's University freshman Justin Michael Nygaard collapsed sometime after 6 p.m. while waiting with five friends at a bus stop on Hylan Boulevard and Guyon Avenue in Oakwood.
His friends, who had hoped to go to the ESPN Zone in Manhattan that evening, frantically called 911 and used CPR to try to revive him.
He died several hours later at University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
"My son was a healthy kid right up until he died," said Nygaard's father, Glen.
"Never sick," he added. "Never did drugs. Never drank. Nothing." Nygaard's father wondered if the death might be related to a genetic disorder that claimed the life of another young family member last October.
THEN this comes up...
Police are investigating the deaths of four babies in New York City.
The four children were found dead on Easter Sunday. Three died in Brooklyn and one on Staten Island. None of the cases are related and none have been deemed suspicious.
The Brooklyn children were identified as three-month-old Alyssa Sanford, four-month-old Summer Pinckney and four-month-old Briana Russell. Seven-week-old Matthew Mason died on Staten Island.

That's sad and weird. Every once in a while we have strange deaths here. They just keep getting more bizarre by the year.

You gotta toot a lot of blow for it to kill you all of a sudden, but it's possible. Remember Len Bias?
Sounds like a a cluster of misfortune, but I don't see much evidence for conspiracy....

you shouldn't worry Karen, you're strong & the strong usually live on. mourn for those youth that have passed, it's sad and confusing and there doesn't seem to be any answers.
