Without sounding too cynical he's got a better chance of escaping alive than the others being a prince. I'm sure those normal soldiers are guarding his butt like drone bees guard their queen - ironic royal connected simile there.  ;D

I was under the impression he'd be more of a target, being a Prince.  The other soldiers would have the duty to protect and defend their royalty.

Everybody's a target in a war situation but the way I see it if a prince comes out into a warzone, knowing full well he could get his head blown off, requiring the best defence around he's in the wrong place. At best, that would make him a liability and at worst it would make him a pain in the arse.

It's like me wanting to beat the WWE champion at Wrestlemania without having to lay a hand on him.

You're right he is a liability.  However you can't be too harsh on him for wanting to be normal and serve his Country.  They should have given him a desk job.

I'm not sure the British will have any problems with him patriotically as in 'he's a traitor to our country', but I'm sure it will give them more reason to think the Royal Family are a waste of space.

Prince Harry has arrive back in the UK from Afghanistan after his tour of duty was cut short because of a media leak.

With Harry I gotta give him the benefit of any doubt.  He is in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation.  :-\\

I just hope that his unit got the chance to kick some enemy butt during his short stint in Afghanistan.
