Animation, basically what's most of my favorite shows from this decade are like "Boondocks",  and early "Family Guy".

you left out dramas.... I love dramas and want to see more of them I fear the strike has us run amok with game shows so we me be inundated with them in 08  :(

I'm not really a big fan of drama... I'd might as well forgot about that.  there are pretty huge this decade, especially on Fox.

its cyclical... sitcoms were big in the 50s, approx 50/50 in the 60s - hour long program booned in the 70s, but the 80s/90s saw a ressurgence of the sitcom as king... now dramas once again rule the air waves.... I like em.... sitcoms are far more repetitive  and the laugh tracks drive me nuts. I have been to live tapings and watching an aired version of an ep I've seen live you can really hear how they "sweeten" the laughter.  >:(
