Subject: Whoopi Goldberg to become new co-host of 'The View'

According to a news item I saw this morning, it looks like Whoopi's gonna replace Rosie on ABC's daytime talk show "The View." She seems like a fine replacement to me; I certainly hope it works out.

I love Whoopi, I think this will be a good venue from her. She is good with off the cuff banter. I think she and Joy will be be hilarious.

You can say that again. 8) She was on the TV Guide Channel in 2001 and I often watched it just so I could see her. ;D

She hosts some Entertainment show on E! these days. She still looks great! 8)

I like Whoopie. And I am glad to see her on The View.
Now, that said, given the platform of this venue, there is an exceedingly high chance that she will say something terribly non-politically-correct and get vilified for it and leave the show earlier than we would otherwise think.
