Subject: Do The Click Five sound like Rick Springfield?
Written By: ClickFiveFan on 07/29/07 at 1:39 am
I was listening to "Catch Your Wave" and I noticed the similarity to "Human Touch". The synths, lyrics, guitar, everything is similar! Just the Girl is like Jessie's Girl too.

Five alive was a pretty good juice. Thanks for reminding me w-dog.
In my college days, it mixed some pretty unique drinks.

On a serious note....I think I see what you mean about "Catch Your Wave" fitting in with the synthesized rock of "Human Touch". I listened to some of the other song samples, and they do kinda sound like an '80s influenced band with modern production. Sort of the way I think actual 1980s music put a new spin on '50s and '60s styles.
"Time Machine" sort of sounds like a new wave ballad too.
