Pete Doherty has arrived in court to face drugs charges minutes after a warrant for his arrest was issued.

The singer was almost two-and-a-half hours late for the hearing at West London Magistrates' Court.

The 28-year-old, who faces charges including possession of a Class A drug, waded through a crowd of photographers into the court house.

He was charged after he was stopped in a car by officers in Kensington High Street, west London, on 5 May.
